![]() ![]() Despite their humble beginnings as Dollar Mystery Guild offerings, they are a sturdy set that has held up very well. A very nice set of books that would cost much more when purchased indivudually. The photographs are the best description. None have major material losses, all present well in new mylar covers. Several have closed tears repaired with archival tissue. The dust jackets mostly have minor edgewear, some have minor fading or soiling. The books all have tight bindings and no serious issues. All of the books and dust jackets are in very good to near fine condition. A total of 9 were printed with this distinctive jacket design and all 9 are included in this set. They had dust jackets with similar designs but in different colors (yellow, green, and blue). They were printed in the USA and bore the imprints of Viking, MacMillan, and New American Library. The Dollar Mystery Guild published a set of hardcover James Bond novels beginning in 1965 and continuing into the 1970s. ![]()
